Well I know we discussed this at our last meeting and several people seemed interested in the idea. I did some research and found that the shuttle is scheduled to launch October 8th+ from launchpad 39A. The 8th is on a Wednesday so that is going to be a tough go but I'm up for it if others are as well. It may get pushed back so it may be a later date so it will have to be watched closely to see.
There are a couple of objectives: 1) dive at Disney's Epcot, watch the launch, and get in a couple of dives out of Orlando or Ft. Lauderdale.
I will bring this up again in the meeting on the 15th.

One other aquarium in the "area" (Tampa) allows diving:
Florida Aquarium - shark dive
We haven't done this one yet, but we want to. |
